Dr Wansanatha Bulugahapitiya “Nath”, is a senior dental surgeon with 30 years of clinical experience. Dr Nath qualified from the University of Sheffield in 1989, following which he worked in the teaching hospital at Sheffield, gaining vast experience particularly in the fields of surgical and restorative dentistry as Sheffield was the pioneering centre for dental implantology in the United Kingdom.

Following this, he went into general practice in Cambridge for the next two and a half years, where he gained extensive experience in comprehensive dentistry. Dr Nath then had a sabbatical for 18 months in the Dept of Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine, University of Melbourne Dental School, (Australia), further improving his skills in oral surgery and oral medicine.

He returned to the UK, into general practice for the next 11 years between Oxford and Nottingham where he practiced and gained experience in surgical, restorative and aesthetic dentistry. From 2005 to date, he has been in Singapore, where he has built up a thriving multi disciplinary, interactive, patient focused practice.

Dr Nath believes in continual professional development as modern dentistry is a constantly evolving and expanding profession. His main area of interest and clinical expertise lies in conservative restorative dentistry (eg. crown & bridgework, full mouth rehabilitations), prosthodontic implantology, and aesthetic dentistry. His clinical experience has enabled him to gain experience and skills in managing apprehensive and nervous patients.

Dr Nath practices multidisciplinary, interactive dentistry for the benefit of his patients and to achieve his own high clinical standards and expectations.
